Clean Sweep is KAB’s annual citywide cleanup that takes place all over Austin. In 2011 there were 136 cleanup locations all around Austin (31 zip codes) which collected over 25 tons of trash (from public spaces) and over 45,000 cigarette butts!

This year 2012 it is occurring on Saturday, April 14 and we will be hosting three Clean Sweep sites:

• 4th Street/I-35 Underpass Bikeway (litter abatement and paint based beautification)
• Nueces bike route from 5th Street to MLK (litter abatement)
• Rio Grande bike route from 12th Street to 24th Street (litter abatement)
