One of the most fun (and challenging) parts of being a kid is learning to ride a bicycle. It can be quite frustrating to practice with training wheels, only to realize that once you take them off you haven’t really learned how to balance at all. This summer we are holding four Learn to Ride clinics for kids of all ages and skill levels. In these clinics, certified teachers will assist riders with balance and form, safety skills, and basic bicycle mechanics.

This past Saturday, Ghisallo held its first Learn to Ride clinic at Metz Recreation. Students of all levels met under the pavilion to go over the 5 steps to helmet fitting and safe riding tips. Thanks to Woom Cycles, we were able to provide both balance and pedal bikes of all sizes for our riders.

Two sisters learning to ride together. With the help of Maya and Mary, the girls were able to progress quickly, even taking their new skills to the trail!

Some trail riders stopped off to have Girmawi tune up their bikes. We offer free bike maintenance during our Learn to Ride Clinics!
Thank you Woom Cycles for always supporting kids on bikes!
