The Bike Club from Mendez Middle School took off to Franklin Park on this day in March to tackle the hills of S. Pleasant Valley and to play in the playground. John Michael worked hard to earn a badge. He learned how to properly lock a bike to a bike rack and is on his way to become a Level 1 Cyclist! On this day Gabriel and Orlando earned their Level 2 Bolt Check badge. These three friends rode on the sidewalks & busy streets to get to Franklin Park. They worked on staying together across streets and avoiding the “door zone” when passing parked cars. We played “Zombie Tag” at the park!
