While the Martin Middle School Valentine’s Day dance may have deterred most participants from attending Bike Club this week, dedicated students Michael and Carlos were still ready to ride! These experienced riders alternated leading this small group on their longest journey in Martin Middle School Bike Club history!

The route followed East Fifth Street to the trail connecting to Montopolis Bridge. Michael and Carlos took part in the joy of passing many cars that were stuck in traffic along the way! This exciting new trail led the students down to Roy G. Guerrero Park. The group stopped at a “secret” BMX pump track along the way to admire the impressive skills of the experienced riders.

From the park, the boardwalk lead the students to Congress then back to the school. With new trails, a “secret” BMX Park, and the longest ride yet, it was an exciting afternoon for Carlos and Michael!
