Along with the expansion in programming for 2015, we were very excited to be able to give back to the community through a Holiday bike giveaway.

We partnered with Austin Beer Garden Brewery(ABGB) as part of their Hell Yes! project to offer Holiday lunch parties to local businesses benefiting Ghisallo and the kids we serve. As part of the lunches the groups would build new bikes which they in turn donated to Ghisallo Cycling Initiative. These bikes were then marked for distribution to kids affected by the Halloween 2015 flooding in Onion Creek/Dove Springs area of Southeast Austin. With 3 programs in that immediate area we felt it was a great place to help with restoring some Holiday cheer.

With the help and the hard work put in by our supporters building the bikes and partnership with ABGB, we were able to deliver 18 bikes to the kids for a Happy Holidays.
