Ghisallo Cycling Initiative, in partnership with Get There ATX,  is thrilled to launch the second annual Le Tour de Splash. This challenge invites you to discover over 130 refreshing spots across Austin, including public pools, splash pads, lakes, and creeks. Beat the heat and join the fun! Every Splash Spot you visit gives you a chance to win prizes from some great companies around town!

Two Ways to Participate in Le Tour de Splash Challenge

1. Post on Social Media Post a photo or video reel of you and your bike outside of a pool, creek or splashpad (from the map listed above) on Instagram, tagging AND following @GhisalloCycling and @GetThereATX and add the hashtag #TourDeSplash2025 in a post on a public account only. Post must be dated between July 1 – August 15, 2025.
2. If you don’t use Instagram or if you have a private Instagram account, fill out this form to submit your photo along with your contact information 

Important Le Tour de Splash Summer Challenge Contest Eligibility Information

Guidelines For Le Tour De Splash:

1. Bike, bus, train, or scoot to a splash spot located on our map, between July 1st and August 15, 2025.

2. Take a photo or a video at the splash spot showing you got there on alt transportation and post it on Instagram

3. Tag @ghisallocycling AND @getthereatx.

4. Only stand-alone posts or reels posted before August 16, 2025 will be eligible.

5. You must tag and follow both Ghisallo Cycling Initiative and Get There ATX to be eligible.

6. Each post from a Splash Spot counts as an entry into the giveaway; the more spots you visit, the more chances you have to win!

Le Tour de Splash Contest Giveaway Rules:

1. Participants must be 18 or older to enter. Parents or guardians can enter on behalf of their children or family.

2. Participants are eligible to win (1) giveaway prize during the event duration, July 1st – August 15th but can submit multiple entries. 

3. To qualify for the giveaway, all entries (post or reel) must:
   a. tag @ghisallocycling and @getthereatx
   b. State the Splash spot name (pool, splash pad, etc.)
   c. Show that a Splash Spot was reached using a bike or alternative transportation (excludes car driving and ride share such as Uber)
   d. Alternatively, participants not on social media can email Splash Spot photos to this form to enter giveaway.

4. A participant’s entries will accumulate until the participant has won or the event has concluded on August 15th. Once someone is declared a winner, they are no longer eligible to win in any remaining giveaway drawings.

5. One giveaway drawing will be done randomly each week on Wednesday at noon for the previous week’s entries. Note that an entry is eligible to win even if it wasn’t created the week before.

6. Winners will be contacted via email or Instagram (depending on their contact info/submission form) on the same day as the giveaway drawing.

7. Prizes will be mailed or collected in person at Austin Bouldering Project – Springdale following each drawing. Ghisallo will arrange a pickup method after a winner is confirmed.

8. All prizes must be collected within (2) weeks after the close of the event, Tuesday September 2nd. Any prizes not collected by September 2nd will return to Ghisallo Cycling Initiative for future events.

9. By submitting photos to enter the giveaway, participants consent to Ghisallo Cycling Initiative and Get There ATX to use their photos on social media and for marketing purposes.
