At Consuelo Mendez Middle School we’ve been able to get the students off-road more than ever before.

Dove Springs Rec Center has a great network of trails. These are in a beautiful wooded area backed up to Williamson Creek.

This is a type of cycling that few of these kids have ever been exposed to before. They have really taken to the thrill of flying downhill and negotiating the trails’ bumps and bends.

There is one particular spot the kids want to ride over and over. It’s a nice downhill with some curves and stumps to jump. They have mastered their bike handling skills and speed control, having fun at the same time of course.

Isaiah, Omarian and Anais are ripping it up!!
