Today the Dobie Bike Club beat the heat with a trip for some fruit cups & smoothies. After the cool treats, we rode over to a nearby park to throw around a football and a Frisbee, and rode around the dirt track and grass. We all had a blast getting to go far away from the Dobie campus and to explore our city on two awesome wheels.
Students earned the traffic signals badge & the 1 mile badge along with other basic ones like hand signals for students who missed previous classes. We worked on riding on streets with small traffic & crossing large intersections such as Braker Ln and I-35. We are very proud of their progress and look forward to giving out more badges to deserving students.
