Cycling Forward with 34 Bikes to Kids!

2021 was fun and we wrapped up the year by distributing 34 bikes and helmets to kids for the holidays! Recipients included HACA Chalmers Courts Boys & Girls Club, Foundation Communities M Station, the Jeremiah Program, SAFE Alliance, Urban Roots community, Langford Elementary, Oak Springs Elementary, and Allison Elementary schools.

And we even delivered some by bike…

Thanks to ABGB for hosting us another year for our Hell Yes Project Holiday Bike Builds and to the 6 groups for helping us build bikes – Heat Transfer Solutions (HTS), Natalia King, EEA Consulting Engineers, Movability, Argo Design, and the City of Austin Active Transportation & Street Design Department.

Thanks to Guardian Bikes and REI for providing bikes and to the Texas Medical Association (TMA), Travis County Medical Alliance (TCMA), and the Colony Park Neighborhood Association for providing helmets for distribution.

Bikes donated by REI went to M Station resident families!
